What you'll need
- Your business profile. Don't have one? Start here →
- Your accounting tool or bank and card feeds (QuickBooks, Xero, Stripe, Square, etc.), connected, or last month's statements
- Payment processor reports, and a cash log if you take cash
- Your regular bills
- The five to eight spending categories that make sense to you
What you'll get
- A one-page report: money in, money out, what's left, and the change from last month
- The next 30 days of expected income and bills, with any cash dip flagged
- Three specific things worth a look
- A short list of transactions only you can place
How it works
Run it on the first business day of each month. It pulls last month's transactions, matches transfers and processor payouts so nothing is double-counted, separates your own pay, and sorts everything into your categories, asking instead of guessing. You get one page with the month's totals, a 30-day look-ahead against your minimum cash, and three things to check. Tax questions go to your accountant, and nothing in your books changes without your approval.
