What's included

The expiring-soon dashboard, records for each sub, vehicle and property, upload links for renewals, drafted renewal requests, and the underlying code to remix for your business.

What it does

Keeps every expiring item in one place: your own licenses, subcontractors' insurance certificates, workers' comp, vehicle policies, staff certifications and property inspections. It reminds you at 60, 30 and 7 days, drafts a renewal request to the sub or staff member (sent only after you approve it), and gives them an upload link so the new document lands on the right record.

What you'll need

A list of what you track today: licenses, certificates, policies and inspections, with expiry dates.
Contact details for each subcontractor or staff member who owes you documents.
Copies of current certificates, if you have them handy.

How to set it up

  1. 1Add your items, or import the spreadsheet you use now.
  2. 2Attach current documents to each record.
  3. 3Choose when reminders go out (60, 30 and 7 days by default).
  4. 4Send each sub their upload link for future renewals.
  5. 5Check the expiring-soon list once a week and approve the renewal requests it drafts.

How to make it your own

Add item types for your industry, like food handler cards or cosmetology licenses.
Change reminder timing per item type.
Flag subs with an expired certificate on any job they're scheduled for.
